Refund Policy

AlertaCert offers a 14-day free trial period for all paid plans. This policy describes when and how refunds are applied.
1. Trial Period
All paid plans (Personal, Team, and Business) include a 14-day free trial. You can cancel at any time during this period without charge.
If you cancel before the trial ends, no charge is made and your account automatically switches to the Free plan.
2. General Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods already started. Upon cancellation, access to the paid plan continues until the end of the already paid period.
There are no additional charges for cancellation: automatic renewal simply stops.
3. Exceptions and Special Cases
We may issue a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate or technical billing error caused by AlertaCert.
- Charge made after a cancellation confirmed within the trial period.
- Exceptional circumstances evaluated on a case-by-case basis, at the discretion of AlertaCert.
Refunds due to legal obligation are processed according to applicable legislation in the user's jurisdiction.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, write to support@alertacert.com with the subject 'Refund Request' and include your account email and reason. We will respond within 5 business days.
Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method in 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation is immediate, and access to the paid plan remains until the end of the already paid period.
At the end of the paid period, your account automatically switches to the Free plan. Your existing certificates, clients, and data are preserved; only the Free plan limits apply to new uploads.
